The numbers to voice call emergency services differ by country.

Emergency services are generally contactable through different phone numbers, urgent and non-urgent.

In some cases, when speaking to an operator, a caller will be asked the type of service they require, police, fire or ambulance.

The emergency number 911 is primarily used in the United States and Canada.

However, it is worth noting that several other countries have adopted or implemented the 911 emergency number as well, including:
